Gary-

I checked with our Lenovo partner and they indicate this must be a defective screen. You should have it repaired or replaced. If there's anything we can do to help, please let us know.

Subject: [MSUNAG] anyone with a thinkpad x260?
Date: Wed, Nov 2, 2016 12:25 PM

I'm curious whether anyone has a thinkpad x260, specifically with the 1920x1080 screen on it. I just got one of these in for a faculty member, and my first reaction was that the screen is absolutely terrible. I would call it a major screen door effect, the likes of which I haven't seen since fairly early in lcd production. I've already pretty much decided this is going to have to go back, since I'm worried that any repair might take me out of any return period we might have (if there is one), but I'm now stuck wondering whether it's worth trying to order the same thing again on the assumption that this is a defect, or if this is normal and we need to just avoid this model. I haven't seen any reviews that talk about this problem, so figured I'd ask if anyone else has looked at one and seen anything like it.

Thanks,
Gary
