Hi,

We sometimes use File Depot to send large files to our students. Today, a student informed us that he was unable to log into File Depot. He placed a Service Request with IT services, and was told that because his email account has been transitioned to Office 365, he will no longer be able to log into File Depot.

If File Depot is indeed being deprecated then this is the first I’ve heard of it. If so, what will take its place? We desperately need an Institutionally sanctioned  vehicle by which to transfer files. Asking us to share intellectual property via personal Dropbox or Google accounts that are unaffiliated with the University is not an acceptable solution.
