I’ve not looked into all those features, but from working on a side project, I think a lot of it can be accomplished with FileMaker Pro and an iPad/printer. Basically, the database/interfaces can be designed
on a PC or Mac, hosted on a PC or Mac, with the free iOS client connecting to the “server”. The DB can be edited and updated anytime and once the changes are confirmed, the interface/data changes instantly show up on the client. The newest version 13 came
out last month and adds lots of functionality for the iOS client, like server-side scripting. The client supports signature capture, various options for fields, picture capture, etc and with AirPrint or Bluetooth printers becoming very reasonably priced most
or all of these goals could be met for under $1000, especially if an older iPad is collecting dust somewhere. If it ends up that the server version of FMP is required, the price becomes kind of high, but you get a lot of bang for your buck with even FMP Advanced.
