The communications team at EBS asked me to share this article with the NAG list. Adobe Reader 11, Windows 8 and Internet Explorer 10 EBS Compatibility Within the last few weeks Microsoft has released the Windows 8 operating system (OS) and Internet Explorer (IE) 10, and Adobe released a new version of Reader (version 11 [XI]). EBS applications are usually unable to support new major versions of browsers, OS and Adobe Reader for at least 3-6 months after they are released by their vendor to the general public. This delay is due to EBS application (software) updates and configuration changes required, and needed to be made by vendors, in order to be compatible with new browser/Adobe/OS versions. Due to probable compatibility issues and the inability to provide technical support, EBS strongly recommends that you do not upgrade to (or acquire) Adobe XI, Windows 8 or IE 10. EBS has just started reviewing these new versions of Adobe, Windows and IE, and will provide additional information to you in the next few weeks regarding their compatibility and use.
