Job Title: Information Technologist II

 

Job Summary:  Serves as lead application developer for the Eli Broad College of Business; will analyze, develop, prepare, and document complex Web sites and computer programs and participate in analysis, design, and review of processes; involves programming, application development, interface design, application design, database design, system and database maintenance; participates in all phases of projects, from needs analysis and project design through coding, testing, and implementation; understands and complies with University guidelines and policies regarding data and technology; works collaboratively with colleagues; also provides technical support to other staff members.

 

Minimum Requirements:  A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business, or a related information technology field; more than three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in Web application development (SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .Net, PHP); experience with application specification and design; knowledge of internet standards; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
