Ehren, I've run into the same problem before with my mother's laptop. I was unsuccessful in finding an OEM disc, so I took a chance and installed the OS with a TechNet ISO and then called Microsoft to activate. After a surprisingly short phone call involving reading some codes to the machine operator at MS and entering some codes that were read back to me, I've now got the machine activated. It's an extra step, but it only took about 20 minutes and I'm pretty sure I wasted more time looking for the OEM disc in the first place. Ryan M.
