Hi I have a user that designs publications and does a lot of desktop
publishing with a windows 7 computer with Dual Portrait Format Monitors.
When she uses other than 96 dpi (display 100%) and switches display to
Medium 125%. The startup and shut down of her computer is really slow.

The difference sometimes is a 20 second shutdown with 96 dpi to a 2 minute
30 seconds shutdown with the medium dpi setting. Once the settings are
dialed back down the machine seems to boot up and shut down a lot more
quickly.

We've already ensured that hotfix Fix297656 has been installed.

Has anybody seen this annoying behavior? Other than setting the DPI to 96,
did anybody find a resolution?

Thanks,
