over wire mesh, possibly painted with lead paint prior to
1978.
What
could possibly be keeping the signal strength down in any of
our vintage buildings???
The lead paint does matter, interestingly. I've tested that several
times now.
But the wire mesh is a killer.
OK, so you get a phone with an antenna jack, make an adaptor from
that to a
100 ft run of LDF5-50 Heliax, to the antenna. I actually know
someone who
did that in Canada. It works, and is totally nuts. ;-)
