We've had several computers using Outlook stop working yesterday & today.

It seems to be a Microsoft patch that was released Tuesday and probably automatically applied over the last few days.

The patch turns on SPA (secure password authentication) which is incompatible with mail.msu.edu.

If your Outlook quits working, you need to go into account settings and turn off SPA.  There is a screen shot of this at http://techbase.msu.edu/images/pathfinders/P9156T36251.gif
