You may need to connect and make sure the connection is in the remember and automatically-connect list.

This really applies more to the recently replaced AuthN method. Before, when you had to authenticate via webpage, my Mac would recognize that this wireless connection does not provide access to the internet. (That is, not right away, as if it were public, or merely WEP/WPA password protected.) This delay caused my Mac to decide that this must only be a temporary wireless connection, and didn't reconnect later.

Now that the DHCP is in place, I added the wireless connection once, received instant internet access, and the Mac put the connection in the automatically-connect list.
