The Study Abroad office and OISS in the International Center each have a large flat screen TV mounted in the hall outside their lobbies. They have them connected to computers via VGA cables on the other side of the wall and show PowerPoint presentations on them. They work great and are much easier to update or change out completely verses a static bulletin board. For your situation, the computer interface might be a challenge because of location, but you should be able to work with PhysPlant to figure out a solution. Most likely they could run a high quality cable back to a computer somewhere. It might need a signal repeater or something though to keep the picture at a workable quality. Unfortunately, it looks like the spot where it would be best to put this the other side of the wall is a stairway, so just punching through the wall to mount a computer to drive it wouldn't be practical.
