Hi folks,
ISP
is looking at purchasing an MD3000 for use as a shared storage pool for doing
some in-house virtualizing of some servers, and also for general purpose storage
in hopes of replacing our crappy Snap server. We’re looking to add
two PE1950 III servers as hosts for redundancy. Does anyone on campus have
one of these? We’ve got some questions about the system in general,
the software interface, and how versatile it can be made.
