Making changes to an exchange server registry is something that should
be done as a last result.
Is there another way to accomplish your goal?
Would creating another store be a viable option?

The article did suggest that in a disaster recovery situation, the
registry keys will have to be in place on the target server.

Another thing to consider is the possibility that a future exchange
patch could revert these registry changes.

Subject: [MSUNAG] Increasing Size Limit of Exchange 2003 Database?

My exchange server has begun throwing event 9690s, complaining that the
size of the database is acceded 18 GB. The article at the below URL
describes a registry setting that will increase the size limit:

Any reason not to do this? I have plenty of free space on the volume.
Thanks,

Al
