If one pays for what is supposed to be redundant security, on a house allegedly designed from the ground up to be the securest yet, then legal liability would accrue to the engineer's Errors and Omissions insurance and the security company. Anyone know of a pay out by an OS or computer security solution company? Just curious. If a house (user's computer) gets broken into because windows (WindowsXP, Vista, etc) were breached whose at fault? Do you blame the house, the windows, the thief (hacker) ,the neighborhood (network) ,law enforcement (IDS, IPS, Firewalls, Anti-virus, Anti-spyware, Anti-SPAM, etc) or even the owner?
