Just an update and reminder that this Thursday (3/13) at
1:00pm, HR Systems Development and Support will be hosting a live demo of the
Wave Systems Embassy Remote Administration Server product. This
software allows an IT group to manage their TPM-equipped PC’s, and if you
have them installed, the Seagate Momentus 5400 FDE.2 Encrypting hard disks.
This technology is also not vulnerable to the “Cold
Boot” attack that has been in the news over the last few weeks.
If you are responsible for laptop computers in your unit or
department, you owe it to yourself to come and check out this technology.
Please come see the demo and talk to the vendor representatives that will be
here on Thursday.
