Does the U have a disposal program for old backup tapes?

MSU Salvage will take your old tapes and destroy them. Obviously you aren't going to get any $$$ credit for them, but Salvage will take them off your hands and see to it that they're destroyed and not available.

There shouldn’t be anything sensitive on them, they are just old and not worth trusting data to.

I searched the archives, but couldn’t find any of the mails addressing the services referred to in the past.
