I'd give R-Studio a try before sending the drive anywhere. I pulled twenty gig off a drive that had been through a recovery service and a hotshot recovery program at another company both of which said it was non-recoverable. I used to recommend On-Track, and still would for clean room service. http://www.r-studio.com/ The demo will let you preview what is recoverable and you can register it at that point. Good luck.
