As of a year ago VMWare wouldn't run on BSD. BSD works fine as a guest OS though. There is a work around for older versions of VMWare (3.x for instance), but nothing current. The announcement of VMware Fusion(tm) may presage a change, now that the VMWare folks are working with the MAC OS. SUSE will be running on Virtual PC sometime this year, according to MS. Add a year or three for late delivery and maybe it will happen. ;-) With the recent MS pacts with Xandros and Linspire, MS might actually be willing to work with Linux.
