If I attach (using USB both platforms) to windows there is only the indication that it is unable to access the drive. I'm thinking about trying the free download from Stellar Phoenix suggested by Sibbir Noman to see if I can view the data. According to Stellar I can download the free version to a working drive and it will allow me to see what data can be recovered from the drive in question.
