Subject: [MSUNAG] Experienced Human Resource Available

  Hello everyone,

This is my first message sent out in about a year and I did not expect it to be comprised of this. I was a network administrator for 2 years in the Natural Resources bldg and an active part of MSUNAG until I left my position to pursue my programming career. Unfortunately, I took a job in the automotive industry which is falling onto hard times. The hurricane crisis was the straw-that-broke-the-camels back and sadly the small company I worked for has been suddenly forced to close it's doors after realizing that more money would likely not be coming this year.

During my time at this company I was a lead programmer as well as the Network Administrator and Web Administrator. So my knowledge and experience has furthered in the time since I left. I have also actively monitored MSUNAG's mailing lists out of curiosity and with intentions of offering my input if I ever thought I could help. I still owe you guys for all the help I received when I was there.

Hence, there is currently an administrator with 5+ years of experience, a Computer Science degree and knowledge of the internal workings of MSU network readily available for work. I am a young homeowner and tied into my current location for another year or two at least. I have formally applied through the HR dept. and my resume can be found in the C.H.R.I.S. system but I wanted to pass a special notice to those of you who use this list. Sorry if some of you consider this SPAM, I think it is really just notification of a valuable resource J

From what I read things seem to be going pretty well over there. Looks like good progress is being made on the wireless project and the MSU Mail project is getting pretty mature. Most of the other issues seem to be the typical day-to-day challenges. Attached is my resume for those who may be interested. Good luck to you all and thank you for your time.

  Sincerely,

  Joseph M. Deming
