In response to a query, the "DDC" list is literally all of the deans of colleges, chairs of academic departments, and directors of other units. The university administration communicates matters of importance to that list, for dissemenation throughout their areas. NAG has asked that we forward mailings we send to the DDC list to NAG, when those mailings pertain to computing issues at MSU, so that you know what the heck they're inquiring about when they come knocking on your door. :-) /rich
