At the NAG meeting we briefly discussed problems with AFS on Thursday. Those problems were resolved Thursday night. To clarify the issue John Resotko reported at the meeting, where some people logged in and found others' AFS space mounted: so far as we know, in cases where that occurred, people saw others' public files -- i.e., files that had been permitted for public viewing. We are not aware of any situations where anyone was able to read (or write) files that had not been permitted for public viewing. /rich
