Here's what I get, in my office on campus. I think this is very recent.

Then when I try to set up the mapping again, I get:

Does anyone know if this is temporary or permanent, and if temporary, when drive mapping ability might be restored? I had our AIS web servers mapped so I could work at home, and now it's a pain to have to ftp files back and forth.

Subject: Windows drive mapping to AFS space being on campus too?

However, in the past week or so, it appears that this no longer works either. Normally I just map through the Windows Explorer file mgmt GUI, but when this didn't work I went to the command prompt to see what's going on (or not, as the case may be...), and this is what I see:
>
> C:\>net use O: \\afs.msu.edu\fishbeck
> System error 53 has occurred.

>
> C:\>ftp pilot.msu.edu
