There are several *.ini files in the BlackICE directory that contain all configuration information. I've copied these to additional machines so I don't have to use the GUI more than once during initial setup, and this procedure works fine. Re setting up BlackICE to filter outgoing traffic, IIRC, it's a matter of setting a single flag in blackice.ini. To find out more, you'll need to read the Administrator's Guide, downloadable from the ISS web site.

I would like to revisit the recent Black Ice thread with a question:

Is anyone currently using Black Ice exporting rulesets to their clients to speed up configuration? If so, would you care to detail how this is done?

Also, I remember reading in the same thread that contrary to the received wisdom, Black Ice can filter outgoing traffic if modified to do so. How is this done?
