Print

I just saw this nugget posted to our Windows 2000 discussion list and thought
I'd pass it along... ever wanted to map printers and set defaults for users in
your standard login scripts?

Example:
rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /y /n "PRINTER_NAME"
NOTE: Queue name in capitals is important...

Flag refference:
rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /?

And - an easy way to do it by group would be to have multiple printer-mapping-
scripts, and simply NTFS-permission them by group in the Netlogon share so that
a user can only run the ones they've got file-level permission to...

Hope everyone is well back at MSU :)
