IT services as a whole has to be aware and maintain good practices and remain diligent on updates and patches. We also need help of everyone who uses a computer on the campus networks to remain sharp and make good choices when faced with pop ups and unders and acknowledgement boxes too.
Though I am not a spokesperson for ITServices, I want to just echo my thoughts here on your concern cause I too wonder. Here is an idea of what Kaspersky Labs has seen since march 2010,
It took us half a year to analyze Stuxnet," he said. "This is 20 times more complicated. It will take us 10 years to fully understand everything."

I've had some worried questions about this much-publicized malware. Might the network security team be able to offer any reassurances that the MSU network wasn't a target or infected?
