My speculation is that by outside they really mean outside the main
mail.msu.edu stuff. I know for a fact stuff from other msu.edu
addresses (like my server) were not getting through.
Now, that said, I've actually seen a couple of those emails from earlier
show up, so maybe they didn't get completely lost after all.
