posting it for him. As usual, he cuts right through the baloney and
gets out some answers, which is all that I asked. Just having these few
rough numbers already puts my mind at ease. Thank you Leo.

OK, David, seems like a reasonable request. I am pounding out a quick,
off the top of my head answer (not the full table, just some of the
facts as best I know / recall that I'm recalling from my tenure).
(Just as the debate is about to begin, so this is really gonna be offhand).
I'm speaking here as a "grizzled veteran" and primarily as an individual
and not as an officer or official spokesperson. Therefore, I will keep
this to simple fact as I know it and simply leave it at that.
Average APA salary is around $53,000, $4116 gross per month, or $25 per
hour.
Common dues assessment is 2 hours per month, equal in this example then,
to $50
per month.
AFSCME 1585 - 2 hours per month
AFSCME 999 - 2 hours per month
IUOE 547 - uses a formula that for a $50k worker would result in dues of
$56 per month
CTU - essentially 2 hours per month
FOP - I actually do not know, but I don't think they are outside the
roughly 2 hour per month norm.
APSA - $15 or $16 per month.
That's it for what I'll pitch in to this discussion. I'll leave further
comment to APA leadership as official spokespersons.
