"The House passed the College Opportunity and Affordability Act (COAA)
last week, leaving the troubling "Campus Digital Theft Prevention"
requirements intact despite recent revelations that fears over
unauthorized campus-based filesharing were drastically overblown by the
motion picture industry."
The differences between the House and Senate version of the bill have
yet to be reconciled, and the senate version does not contain this
provision, according to the article. So there is still time to write the
representatives on the conference committee to ask that this addendum be
removed. FYI.
