In the Dell BIOS for the Optiplex 745:
- Go to "Drives" and expand the list
- Scroll down to "SATA Operation"
- There should be two options "Normal" and "Legacy"
Selecting "Legacy" and rebooting should allow your imaging software to see the drive.
