What "From" address are you sending the messages from? For a non
mail.msu.edu mail server, do you have the BizHub IP address added to
your white-list? I remember I had to setup the IP address in the "Allow
Relay" and "White-List" properties in Exchange for the last one I had
setup. Also, make sure the address you are sending from actually
exists.
I doubt mail.msu.edu will work; I don't think the BizHub supports any
type of SMTP / POPd authentication. (the version of BizHub I was working
with is 4 years old by now, so my info may be out of date).
Good Luck! There is a company called CCS located in Lansing (off Roth
Drive and Cedar), that have some really good expertise in the BizHub
products...

Subject: [MSUNAG] Konica Minolta BizHub scan to email question
Does anyone here on campus use a Konica-Minolta BizHub multifunction
printer/fax/scanner system? We have been having trouble with the "Scan
to Email" function. No matter what SMTP settings I use, the scanned
documents are not sent and I get a "No Relaying" type of error message
as my only indication of what is happening. Any suggestions or
troubleshooting clues would be helpful. It used to work flawlessly, but
then the "no relaying" started happening, so I am wondering if something
is slightly different on the mail.msu.edu servers that is preventing the
Konica-Minolta from forwarding the scanned documents to msu.edu email
addresses.
Thanks in advance!
