Bryan,

The Department of Psychology has no password policy whatsoever, and in fact
many accounts use no password at all.
FWIW, an article at
http://www.cerias.purdue.edu/weblogs/spaf/general/post-30/ (featured on
slashdot on 25 Apr 2006) disputes the common wisdom that frequent password
changes help security. The author instead advises that strong passwords do
most of the work.
