I was just informed that passwords for an MSU Net id can only
be 6 to 8 characters, alpha or numeric only, no other characters
allowed, case insensitive.
This is news to me. Is this really true? I just got this from a
consultant. I'm having a hard time believing this. I've been
encouraging my people to make up longer passwords, sigh.
