Subject: It's official - we are recruiting a Clinical Assistant Professor of Teaching and Learning in Forestry and Natural Resources

Dear FNRers,

I am writing to share the great news that we just received the final approval from the College to post our Clinical Assistant Professor of Teaching and Learning in Forestry and Natural Resources. Please see the approved position announcement attached and the external post can be found here: https://careers.purdue.edu/job-invite/30900/<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/careers.purdue.edu/job-invite/30900/__;!!HXCxUKc!1YXuYzA6qsY010_hdgpwSWl2sT09FfSHPTC0HzRIThECoCWHaPMcqRD93F0RVgCh8DUrjUGKkN_qtu_SJd64LlE$>. This means that we are now in active recruitment mode!!!

A big thank you to Dr. Barny Dunny who will be leading the search as the committee chair, and to Drs. Liz Flaherty, Pat Zollner, and Rado Gazo, and Les Warren for serving as search committee members. Les is our graduate student representative on the search committee and a PhD student in Dr. Tomas Hook’s lab. Also a bit shout-out to Telaina Minnicus for going back and forth between the department and HR and all the other offices she works with to get this position approved and posted.

I am so excited that we have this opportunity to recruit a new colleague to FNR. Please help the search committee with what they need in this search process so we can get an excellent individual joining us before fall semester begins!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Zhao
