The Stanford Sustainability Accelerator is launching a postdoctoral fellowship designed to empower and support innovators to launch scalable real-world technology and policy solutions. The 2024-25 fellowship will be focused on our first flagship destination, greenhouse gas removal (GHG-R), at the gigaton scale by midcentury. We are looking for a diverse cohort of applicants to work on developing solutions with the potential to have an impact at scale. We will select up to four fellows for full financial support for one year with the potential for a second-year renewal, including a salary of $85,000, benefits, and $50,000 in research and development funds. Fellows in this program also benefit from dedicated professional development and community-building programming that will empower and support them in launching real-world technology and policy GHG-R solutions.
