WAIB’s Helping Hands Campaign scholarship awards are based on merit and financial need. These awards offer up to US $1,000 to offset costs of traveling to the annual conference of the Academy of International Business (AIB).

 

To qualify, applicants must complete a written Statement of Commitment (page 3) to:

 

(i)               Support WAIB’s organizational goals, and

(ii)             Volunteer time and service to support WAIB’s various events and activities at the AIB Annual Conference (details to be provided before the conference).

 

Applicants must fill out and sign this Application Form in its entirety. In doing so, you certify that you:

(i)                      Are a member of AIB and WAIB in good standing.

(ii)                    Identify as female.

(iii)                 Are either a female PhD student or low-income faculty member.

(iv)                 Will present a paper accepted for presentation at the AIB annual conference.

(v)                    Will attend WAIB’s Award Ceremony to receive your award and take a group photograph of awardees.

(vi)                 Accept all the Conditions of Award and Exclusions.
