** Apologies for cross-posting **

The Department of Economics, Management and Statistics (DEMS) of the University of Milano-Bicocca invites applications for an 18-month Research Grant in Innovation management.

The project and the profile

The candidate is expected to carry out research on the identification of place leaders (PLs) of the twin transition in the local Italian production systems, a project funded under the NextGenerationEU - missione 4, componente 2, investimento 1.1 - PRIN 2022 PNRR. The project will explore the structural conditions that allow PLs (e.g. managers, trade unionists, politicians, scientists and educators, activists) to emerge as leaders in the transition towards a digital and green economy, the characteristics of PLs and how they facilitate the twin transition, and how to measure the performance of local production systems. The ideal candidate must possess knowledge of economic and management literature on green and/or digital innovation, and expertise in the analysis of firm- and regional-level data. We are looking for candidates with strong research potential who have obtained an MSc or PhD in Management or Business Economics or Applied Economics or Applied Industrial Organization or Economics and Statistics.
