Journal of Supply Chain Management Special Issue on “Supply Chain Resilience Theory for Tomorrow’s World”

 

We are pleased to announce a special issue focusing on advancing the theory of supply chain resilience for the challenges of tomorrow. Despite significant attention on supply chain resilience, including in the Journal of Supply Chain Management, global supply chains appear more vulnerable than ever to both endogenous and exogenous threats.

As resilience of global supply chains has an inherent cross-border management aspect, we are keen to strengthen inter-disciplinary intersections with international business scholarship in this special issue. Therefore, topics of interest include, but are not limited to, research that uses theory and insights from the international business literature to address the complexities, enhance knowledge, and inform practice on supply chain resilience against the threats and challenges of tomorrow’s world.

Submission window: November 1 2024 to January 31 2025

PDW: Authors invited to revise their manuscript will be invited to one of two paper development workshops (based on when reviewer feedback is received).

We look forward to receiving your submissions!
