Research Assistant on Trade, Productivity and Region

 

Centre for Business Prosperity (CBP) at Aston University, located in the heart of Birmingham - England’s second largest city - seeks to appoint a highly motivated and talented researcher with the ability and interest in providing excellence in research and impact in the field of International Trade and International Business Economics. 

 

🖋 The Research Assistant will undertake a research project on “Trade and Productivity across Regions: Understanding the Dynamics and Causal Link” funded by the Economic and Social Research Council through The Productivity Institute, with Professor Jun Du, Dr Oleksandr Shepotylo and Dr Agelos Delis.

 

🎓 The ideal candidate will have a strong background in economics or international business (using quantitative methods), excellent analytical and quantitative skills, a track record of producing high-quality research and excellent written and oral communication skills in English. This is a full-time position.
