The papers can come from students in a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds and should be on some topic of relevance to the Society’s focus. See more details in the attached call for papers. Winners will be invited/expected to present their paper at the 2024 or 2025 conference in-person (preferable) or virtually, co-hosted by: * The Association for the Study of Food and Society (ASFS) * Agriculture Food & Human Values Society (AFHVS) Each award also includes: * Conference registration reimbursement. * A ticket to the evening program/banquet event at the conference. * Formal recognition at the conference and on the AFHVS website as an award winner. * A two-year AFHVS membership. * $300 cash prize (US citizens only; international students may be eligible for limited conference travel reimbursement). * Based on the recommendation of the Student Research Paper Award Committee, the winning graduate student paper may be forwarded to the journal of Agriculture and Human Values<https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://link.springer.com/journal/10460__;!!IKRxdwAv5BmarQ!ZLlVOqLEZs5cZdDj1HCEH0oRkYld8bmSk6J4RGoCc6TlTLlps7U-rsqX6nNnDojP1uavQiwiDKN06xExbA$> for review for possible publication.
