The project investigates how the knowledge base of green/digital technologies develops both at the macro level of countries and regions and at the micro level of firms and sectors, with a focus on the energy and transport industries. The attention is on external knowledge sources, which countries, regions and firms can leverage to develop green/digital innovations. In particular, the project concentrates on investigating the role of foreign direct investments.
