The AIB Oceania Chapter, in collaboration with WAIB and the AIB Teaching & Education SIG, is happy
to announce a call for expressions of interest for travel grants for Pasifika scholars within the field of management and related social science disciplines to attend the Annual
AIB Oceania Chapter Research Symposium in beautiful Adelaide, Australia (November 22-24, 2023) hosted by the University of Adelaide and Flinders University.
Successful candidates would need to participate in a special pedagogy capacity-building workshop which would run on November 22, 2023,
in collaboration with the Women
in AIB and the AIB
Teaching & Education Shared Interest Group. The travel grants would be based on reimbursement of eligible travel and accommodation expenses. Preference
will be given to PhD students, early-career academics, and female academics who are primarily affiliated with a higher education institution in the South Pacific (teaching and/or research focused). PhD students of Pasifika background pursuing their degree
in Australia and New Zealand are also welcome to apply.
To apply, please submit your application form by October 16, 2023. Shortlisted candidates will have a short screening interview
online between October 18and 20 with a selection panel of AIB Oceania Chapter representatives. Candidates will be notified of outcomes by October
