2023 Academy of Latin American Business and Sustainability Studies (ALBUS) Conference

Driving Sustainable Business Development in Latin America: Innovative Strategies for a Changing World

November 7 - 9, 2023

Universidad APEC, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

 

The Academy of Latin American Business and Sustainability Studies (ALBUS), USA, and Universidad APEC, Dominican Republic, are pleased to invite prospective authors, doctoral students, and scholars to submit papers, abstracts, case studies, and proposals for evaluation by the Scientific Committee. ALBUS is a hybrid Conference; therefore, online participation is accepted. The papers can be written in English, Spanish, or Portuguese. All papers will be subjected to a “blind review” by at least two members of the Scientific Committee based on relevance, originality, importance, and clarity. Submitted papers should be related to one or more of the main themes proposed for the Conference:

 

  1. Governments, Institutions, Education and Corporate Sustainability: Strategies for a Changing Landscape
  2. Digital Transformation
  3. Marketing, challenges, and business performance
  4. Human Capital, Culture, Ethics, Leadership, and Sustainability: Driving Change in Organizations
  5. Developing Sustainable Innovation and Entrepreneurship
  6. Decision Science, Accounting, Economics, and Finance
  7. Information Systems and Knowledge Management in Organizations

The objective is to generate discussions that interest academics, researchers, private and public corporations’ administrators, consultants, policymakers, and labor market observatories. Therefore, we encourage contributions that advance theoretical and empirical research and enhance comprehension of contemporary issues in the abovementioned themes.

 

Conference Highlights:

  • Proceedings: Authors can publish their studies as abstracts or papers in the ALBUS 2023 Conference Proceedings with USA ISBN and DOI numbers. Also, an individual DOI number will be assigned to each accepted paper.
  • Professional Development: ALBUS has placed a significant emphasis on professional development. Participants can register for the doctoral student and faculty workshop.
  • Conference Award: Awards will be given for the conference’s Best Paper, Best Paper – Doctoral Student, and Best Paper – Master’s / Undergraduate Student.
