Assistant or Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship

Position Description

 

DOMINICAN UNIVERSITY’s Brennan School of Business announces a search for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship, effective January 2024. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching to a diverse student body in the area of entrepreneurship. The preferred candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the university mission as well as to developing and sustaining a portfolio of intellectual contributions in the field of entrepreneurship. The standard teaching load for this position is 21 credit hours, which corresponds to seven courses during the academic year.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have a PhD in Entrepreneurship/Management from an AACSB accredited institution, teaching experience, and/or relevant professional experience. Candidates with an interest in social entrepreneurship and international entrepreneurship are particularly encouraged to apply. Highly qualified ABD candidates who will complete their degree by January 2024 will also be considered.

 

Preferred Qualifications

A background in creating and implementing experiential learning projects in entrepreneurship is preferred, but candidates with all backgrounds will be considered. Experience teaching students from diverse populations and demonstrated experience creating or leading entrepreneurship programs or social entrepreneurship programs is preferred.
