PANELISTS

Aušrinė Šilenskytė is a Researcher and a Program Manager (Bachelor in International Business) at the School of Management, University of Vaasa, Finland. She is a chair at the Academy of International Business Teaching and Education Shared Interest Group (AIB T&E SIG).  Aušrinė also serves on the Governing Board of the AIB-CIBER Doctoral Academy.

Hanna Gajewska-De Mattos is an Associate Professor in International Management and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She currently serves as a Director of Postgraduate Research Studies at the Centre for International Business, University of Leeds (CIBUL), the Chair of the AIB/Sheth Doctoral Consortium 2023 and the Nordic Research School of International Business (NORD-IB) representative for the University of Leeds. Hanna received her PhD from the University of Leeds, funded by the European Union’s Phare ACE Scholarships Programme. Her research focuses on a conceptualization of cultural difference and in particular the human processes in intercultural interaction and intercultural communication as well as qualitative research methods.

Ahmet H. Kirca is Associate Professor of International Business and Marketing at the Department of Marketing in the Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. Currently, he also serves as the Director of the International Business Center (IBC) and Center of International Business Research (MSU-CIBER). He earned his Ph.D. degree in International Business from the University of South Carolina, Columbia. Prior to joining MSU in 2006, he worked as Assistant Professor of International Business at George Washington University in Washington, DC.

David A. Griffith is the Hallie Vanderhider Chair in Business, Professor of Marketing, and Associate Research Director of the Center of International Business Studies, Mays Business School, Texas A&M University. David is a Fellow of the Academy of International Business, an Area Editor of the Journal of International Business Studies, and a Governing Board of the AIB-CIBER Doctoral Academy.

MODERATOR

Tamer Cavusgil is Regents’ Professor and Fuller E. Callaway Professorial Chair and Executive Director, CIBER, Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University.  A Fellow of the Academy of International Business, Tamer serves on the Governing Board of the AIB-CIBER Doctoral Academy.
