Cool off at the Market with a delicious popsicle from a brand new vendor, Stone Cold Ice Pops!
There are only a few days left to apply for our AmeriCorps
Summer Associate position! This AmeriCorps Member will work alongside our staff to support Youth Service Corps, Allen Farmers Market, GardenHouse, and Market Walk programs. It is a great entry-level opportunity to gain experience with
a neighborhood-based nonprofit for a short, eight or ten week period this summer. Even more, this is a chance to get hands-on experience with different kinds of programs. Apply
for this position by clicking this link: My

Please be mindful of where you park on nearby streets. Check to make sure you are not blocking anyone's driveway and be sure that your parking spot is legal (No Parking Signs are on Shepard Street right across from ANC).
Pedicab rides will be offered all season long to and from nearby homes or parking spots and Market Walk is held every Tuesday and Thursday at Hunter Park Pavilion, with a Saturday virtual session using the PACER
App. Market Walk is a creative food-and-fitness initiative that promotes healthy living by combining exercise with access to fresh foods. For every 5-miles walked, neighbors earn $5 to be spent at the Allen Farmers Market.
Read on for more information on what vendors and products to expect at the Market this week and remember, with Eastside
Lansing Food Co-Op (ELFCO) in the same building, you can do a complete grocery shop in one place and pick up your paper products, pet food, canned goods and more!

To create a sustainable market that, as part of a larger food system, will provide a) all Eastside residents with access to affordable, locally-grown
produce and other locally processed foods and b) small local farmers and artisans with an economically viable market for their goods. Most importantly, we will build rural-urban connections and grower-neighbor friendships that contribute to a secure and equitable
food system.
