The Genomics & Chemical Ecology Group at Michigan State University (Weiming Li Lab in Department of Fisheries and Wildlife: https://www.lilabmsu.com/) is recruiting 5 seasonal research technicians.  Can you please help share this opportunity with your networks of current undergraduate students in the Department and recent graduates through your listservs?

Technicians will assist with sea lamprey behavioral assays in the field at USGS Hammond Bay Biological Station, Millersburg, MI from May - August with shared housing provided.  This is an excellent opportunity to directly participate in research and gain experience with the following:
•     Animal behavioral observations
•     Assisting with experimental setup, data collection, and data management
•     Dissection and basic physiology
•     Fish husbandry and care
•     Passive integrated transponder (PIT) tagging surgical procedures and telemetry equipment
