AND… Its free for the first. Round!

I am writing to ask that you kindly spread the word about this new course that I am so very proud to have created for Spanish-speaking farmers with my colleague Dr. Melissa McKendree of the Michigan State University (MSU) Department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics and other colleagues in Extension.

The course is open for a short time free of charge, in Spanish, covering topics like strategic management, recordkeeping, financial statements and financial analysis, budgets and farm succession. There are videos, readings, activities, and Zoom meetings with Spanish-speaking specialists to apply the concepts to their operation. They will need an internet connection, a computer and about 4 hours per week between mid-March and the end of April to complete the course. In total they will receive between 30 and 35 hours of content and support in various forms: the self-paced course, group meetings with other Spanish-speaking producers, and one-on-one meetings for whatever extra support they may need.

Please pass along this info and my contact information to anyone you know that may be interested. You are also welcome to share on social media. I have shared via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and those links should help repost if you so wish. My email address is [log in to unmask], my Michigan phone number is+1 231.224.6439, my Whatsapp is +5491131965275, and I'm also happy to connect via social media.
