All are welcome to join us for a learning and sharing session on March 3, 9-4 on MSU campus, Brody Hall. We hope you can join us for this event, focused on organic and sustainable agriculture production practices and discussion with farmers
and researchers, and extension talk how best to implement best practices around manure management, smart crop rotations, implementation of beneficial insects in orchard settings, selecting appropriate mechanization and then a chance to learn about a new farmer
mentor program based in Michigan. At lunch we will hear from Kali Fox from Senator Stabenow’s office about the status and relevance for organic farmers of the 2023 Farm Bill.
