with apologies for cross-posting, please note this call for a PhD fellowship in the frame of the Industrial Doctorate project Post-pandemic resilient communities: is the informal economy a reservoir for the next generation of digitalized and green businesses in Africa, Asia and Latin America? (HORIZON-MSCA-2021-DN-01, GA 101073394), and extend to interested scholars.

An MSCA – Industrial Doctorate is a programme funded by Horizon Europe, thanks to which Junior Researchers can enrol in a PhD programme while being employed for 18 months by a university and 18 months by a non-academic partner. Successful fellows will receive a salary for three years, at the EU early Stage Researcher rate – substantially above the level of PhD scholarships in most countries (total amount depending on the country where they will be based in) and an allowance for mobility, research, family in line with EU guidelines that can be viewed here:

Minimum requirements: 
completed university degree (Master Degree or comparable) in the field of social sciences, economics (or related)interest and ability for theoretical and practical researchexcellent knowledge of spoken and written Englishadvanced computer skillshighly developed communication skillsthe candidate shall not have more than four (4) years of full-time work experience in research (or already have a doctorate) at the time of employmentthe candidate can be of any nationality, but must not be a resident (or have his/her main activity, i.e. work or study) in the Republic of Croatia for longer than 12 months during the past three years (counting from the date of application). Short stays, such as vacation and/or military service, are not taken into accountknowledge of the Spanish language is not a mandatory condition, but will be evaluated as an advantageJob requirements:
